Been a long time. Kids are busy with sports and now I own a travel trailer lol.
I did today after inspecting the front sub frame i decided to buy a good used one. I'm gonna build it up and then i can just swap the old one out. I'll remove pieces from the car and place onto the new to me sub frame.
I found one on ebay from Texas so it's gonna take a bit to get here.
That's my plan anyways. Hopefully be done by fall.
Hope everyone is well.

Front cradle showed up today. Sticker shows what it came off. Pretty solid shape with just a little surface rust here and there but nothing I can't cleanup and respray.
Now i need to get my *** in gear and start pulling stuff off the old one lol
Not Bad!!
Now be sure you put in Genuine Metalastik bushings so you don't have to do it again in 3 or 4 years.
(I can tell you how I know)

What a find! That looks brand new. Remember to squirt wax anti rust stuff inside everywhere, and particularly the spring support towers with the cradle upside down.

A couple of 750cc cans will do it, a,d the probe that comes with it works really well.
Put whatever you like on the outside. I lucked into possibly the last brand new front cradle in Europe a few years ago. All 100% still.

I second that - leave it alone, if you are concerned keep your eyes open for secondhand one and even then send that away - not a DIY job this one - I even sent mine out.
thanks guys. the next 3 weekends I dont have any camping plans so Im gonna start first by prepping the new to me front sub frame then to start taking off parts.
