Simplest of questions
Evening all,
I'm sorry to have to ask, but having moved into temporary accommodation most of my tools and fixings are not with me. I've gone to replace my indicator bulb this evening and noticed the screws (bolts that go into captive nuts) are rusted and need replacing. Now, I'm finding it hard to find out what they are. I know they are part number:SE910320J, but cannot find what thread they have. I don't want to simply replace with originals, but would prefer stainless so I'm really after the detail of what thread they actually are... Anyone suggest any information sources that I could discover this from? It was much easier when I could go to my shed and try different nuts!
Thanks
Rich

Hi Greg,
I've a facelift XJR-S. The indicator housing is DAC5078. The screw is threaded as opposed to self tapping...
Unfortunately the Jag Heritage site lists the part but doesn't list the thread type, same as anyone still selling the part. :-( I've done some ebay searches as well, I suppose I may just have to find somewhere local that sells fixings individually to see if I can locate the thread.
In 92, are they likely to be metric? That would be a good enough starting point to buy some new ones.
