got a rack for the xjs the new one has 16 mm threads new upgrade were the 14 mm but I am stuck with the 16 any one know who has the 16 mm tie rod ends I cant find anywhere

Memory. hahaha, XJ40 were 16mm.

That seems to fit with one of mine way back.

Using google, it appears that 16mm and 14mm ends are the two most common sizes. (I did not know that)

Doing an eBay search with 16mm tie rod offers many solutions. I'm sure if you narrowed things down a bit, like adding Jaguar to the eBay search prompt, you would find what you wanted in a snap.

 

problem solved I sent rack back and ordered the correct rack. Sometimes the answer is so simple.
