Default Speaking of rare..

If any banks find that they are missing some cash I might be the culprit. I have always wanted this exact car for years. Unfortunately I am not in the financial position to buy this one. It'll be years before I see another late V12 coupe in midnight blue. sigh..

Oooooh .... that blue exterior sets off the white interior quite nicely.

Yes the '94 and '95 6.0L Coupes are VERY rare, and very special cars. With decent maintanance they are very reliable too. I love mine, and wouldn't give it up for anything except a V12 Aston Martin.

A 6.0 XJS is a great car.....so is the 6.0 X300 sedan. Neither seem to get the appreciation and recognition they deserve.

One thing that always bothered me about the late XJSs, though, is the HUGE seats that extend, seemingly, almost to the ceiling. For some reason that's an itch for me.

Cheers

Going to Southern Ca. this weekend to find an XJS.
Have 3 to look at, but wonder how expensive fixing the air on this one would be? New tires needed, windshield.
I would put in pre-facelift headlights.
Guess I'll have to register with eBay and see if I can stop in and check it out.
Looks sweet!

A/C is a big variable who knows what's wrong with it.

Tires, if your going to do it right with Pirelli's is going to be about $950.

I got a quote for changing my pre facelift windshield long ago- $1600.. HA! I just lived with the chip. But maybe they made the windshield more standardized with the facelift.

As of now, I am xjs-less. very sad.. I'll just keep saving up until another car like this comes up.

This guy probably has the reserve set sky high.. some would say rightfully so. I don't know how many 94-96 6.0 coupes were shipped to the US but there couldn't have been many at all.

Good Luck :-)

That's an awesome car. I now know of two of them, same color combo. The other one was just on ebay about a month ago. I saw it about three years ago on a car carrier with another rare car, 1989 Turbo Trans Am. The XJS was listed on ebay for $38,000! I never saw a coupe when I worked at Union Park but we did have a White v12 convertible come in regularly.
