Hey hello good people... Hope someone is still around this thread...

Ok... So just real quick,,, what are the specs, threadwise (product info) on those two bleeder nipple ports & new hoses for the rear calipers??? The bleeding lines. I'm going to do this but need to understand the threading off the caliper! The idea of getting under the car and taking a small a brake fluid shower again, keeps me up at night.

specs on the Mitsubishi reservoir would be awesome too! I'll happily and quickly do both.

amazing work and thank you so much for sharing it... it's stuff like this that allowed me to believe that owning this machine, was possible.... thanks again!

These are the jobbies:
Jaguar Remote Bleeders I.R.S. Cars; Braided Stainless Steel - 0003
or
Remote Bleed Kit for Jaguar IRS Brakes - Fosseway PerformanceFosseway Performance
or
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAGUAR-IR...-/381615616967

The threaded end goes into the rear calliper where the bleed nipple was. Then you fix the other end to the cage towards the bottom. Then to bleed, you open the sprung bleeder a bit, press the pedal, and the sprung bleeder closes once the pressure is off, making it a one person bleed. After a few pumps, tighten the bleeder and you are done.

Wow none of those are cheap.

I just use Speed Bleeders, which are a “help/dorman” part you can get at any auto store or from rock auto. 12701 is the rear and 12706 is the front.

HellO - Thank you both!

Hmm. Foolishly I assumed that they were something folks had been fabricating or manufacturing with bits and pieces but a premade part,,, considering how much FUN my experience was, lol, makes ALL kinds of sense. And yes, for the moment at least, they are expensive.

I just got a wonderful write-up from GF on dropping the IRS which I paln on doing in the next weeks. I will start saving my pennies! Thank you both - much!

I have always had a had time finding stuff on rock-auto and trusting that my choices are the right ones with them (maybe due to 2 bad experiences and returns are a pain with them) but I will go and take a look see. I hate to be a pain int he **** but if you have a link jagsandmgs, I would be much appreciative...

Greg - thanks for the links!
