Snapped this off reinstalling the engine and gearbox, not sure what it is or what it does!

Will need to replace i am sure, any help would be great, bit that snapped off has two wire connectors.

This is on the left of the gearbox (near side in the UK)

1987 5.3 V12 HE auto.

Picture a bit big sorry wasn't sure how to resize

Transducer for speedo and computer feed?

 

That's exactly what it is.

 

Yes. It is the speedo transducer and the wire and plug that join to the speedo loom plug have been torn off. New unit needed, they are still available.

Was that loose bolt with lock washer shown not tightened, supposed to be an attachment for another bracket or is it just not tightened up yet.?
