Default V12 ram induction manifold

Doe anyone have an inlet manifold of similar style to the following, which was offered as a modification by Clive Sutton back in the day:

Sutton Bespoke History - sutton bespoke

You can just about make it out tin the picture there. I believe it's similar design to the following:

I'm wondering what sort of actual difference such a modification would make to a 5.3L HE V12.

Take a look at the AJ6 Engineering site, I believe details are there. I doubt it's made anymore.

production ceased due to the expense of production making sales slim. If they're out there they don't come up for sale.

even if it didnt raise power, would certainly look nice when showing the engine!!

my experience is when car guys gather they ALL want to see the V12 engine.

The AJ6 inlet manifold does look good, the website claims an amazing 70bhp increase on standard 5.3 V12 and talks of 600bhp on race engine but doesn't specify the race engine.

I understand they were expensive to make and manufacturing was sub contracted out.
I have heard reports of variable and sometimes poor construction quality.

Having said all this I suspect there could be a market if the plus 70bhp claim was substantiated

Back of an envelope calculations here, but I believe that would require packing roughly an extra cubic inch of air in every stroke at 5500 RPM. Hard to imagine unless there are tiny turbos in every inlet runner.

i'm bettin 25/30hp at best, altho the long runners might boost torque in the street rpm range!

Im with Ron, there is no way a bolt on manifold will make an additional 70hp, without other substantial engine mods. I even think 25/30hp on a stock HE engine is optimistic.

In a HE at least the IM is not the point of most restriction, the shrouded intake valve to almost 50% lift is a major issue and the best IM in the world is not going to get more air into the cylinder without addressing this first.
