Hi, when I'm driving along the revs will go up but the speed remains the same.almost like I'm not changing gear... then this warning light pops up and I have no clue what it is. Please help!

I have heard that this often comes on because of low fluid. If you have not checked already, check your transmission fluid. Check it when warm, with the engine running.

 

Sounds like you may have a bad solenoid. To be sure, run diagnostics. I had the light come on in mine, and I had a Jag dealer run diagnostics. Was a solenoid fault. Not a bad job to replace. There are three (IIRC) and not knowing which one, I replaced all three, and the filter at the same time. My L480E has a drain plug. Drained the fluid, removed the pan, replaced the solenoids and filter, reassembled. Light was off.

 

That's one light I have never experienced on mine!
