Default Water inlet spout

Evening all, could someone help me with this question please. On the water inlet spout there is a thermostatic switch. It has two wires going to it. The question is does it matter which wire goes to which connection or will it work ok any way round? Thanks for any assistance

Brinny
That is the switch which switches on the auxiliary fan when the inlet temp gets to 85C.

Thanks Greg. I guessed as much as a previous owner had wired another switch into it so he could switch them on at will I presume? New temp switch fitted now and override switch removed. Let’s hope I don’t need it
