Hi All,
Getting ready for Concours this month.
My 1990 RHD convertible V12 has a 25mm hole right up in the very top LHS of the engine bay behind the ABS pump on the inner fender/guard. What's this for? do I just need to plug it up with a grommet?.

I have an '89 and that is where my wires to siren for security system enter. I would guess without those wires it would simply be blanked off.

 

There should be a pipe running from the header tank to there... That hole is then filled with a rubber grommet.

 

I found a rubber tube with an in line filter hanging loose below the ABS pump? this tube runs across the firewall behind the motor - i'll trace it out tomorrow. The filter would need a hose attached o the outlet to fit through the hole via a grommet.

 

That will be from the marelli distributor vent system. There will be another leading to the vacuum source.

OK, the header tank pipe goes into the hole below and in front of this hole....
I've got a grommet in the hole now - see photo.
