whats your oil pressure?
i just fixed my banjo leak at the sending unit and replaced the sending unit the other day.
At startup my pressure is around 65 but after driving about 20 miles today it went back to doing about 25 stopped and 55ish while driving.
Is this from the oil heating up or did something else start leaking??
what pressure do you guys typically have? running 0w-40 btw and even at 65psi right not my oil light stays on.
thanks

The lowering of pressures after warmup is to be expected. The numbers you are seeing are about right on a lot of non-Jaguar cars.
65 psi is actually a bit on the high side for a 0W40 oil.

so you think those numbers after warmup at around 25 idle and 50 cruising sound about right?
its just my immediate thought yesterday was, "oh great, now something else is leaking". But then i remembered the car was actually warmed up, but i still thought it was odd with two things now sealed the pressure was so similar.
then again it wasn't a BAD leak, maybe im just worrying to much. And maybe the burning oil smell was just what leaked out when i had it apart and it only just then got hot enough to burn off.

Those results sound good to me....even better than average if you have a V12.
The V12s usually have very low pressure hot, at idle. Like 5-8 psi...which causes some concern but is normal.

i know, i just mean my oil light stays on now. even with the other stuff fixed, so the sensor for that light must've gone bad lol.
thanks for the input on what your pressure it though, makes me feel alot more comfortable lol.

Sounds just like my 94. Don't have a light and mine is about 1 on idle and just under 6 while driving.
