Default Wheel bearing question

In the process of installing new brakes. Calipers, pads and rotors.
Everything is going smoothly but when adjusting the wheel bearings it never gets to the point where I feel resistance when turning the wheel.
There is no play, runout, or wiggle.
Is that an indication of worn bearings? They sound fine and roll smoothly off the car. They just never get to the point of resistance.

Are the washers present directly under the nut?
only reason l can think of for not locking up is the nut running out of thread due to a spacing issue.

Normal in my opinion.

If there is 100% NO wiggle as you say, then thats the point I always look for.

I have rarely had them tight enough to resist rotation, it just does NOT sit well with me.

Take it up to ZERO play, and then back off until there is JUST play, then back to zero. Do this a few times so YOU have a feel for it. When the zero is happy to YOU, leave it be.

Had a CRAFT moment.

Recheck the bearing adjustment after 200 or so miles, always better to check than let them continue wrongly set.

They do settle, always, so dont forget.

That's what I was thinking. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the reply.
