Lots of good suppliers out there: Coventry West, Motorcars Ltd., Welsh Jaguar. Coventry West is my personal favorite but that's not meant to disparage the others in any way.

Some items are available from Rock Auto and other on-line vendors. Just be careful of inaccurate on-line catalog listings which sometimes don't take Jaguar oddities into account.

Your neighborhood parts store can can many items for Jags but it may take a day or two. Don't expect them to have anything "on the shelf".

Cheers

I do this order:

#1-Jaguar in England: www.jaguarclassicparts.com
#2-Local Jaguar dealer
#3-Motorcars LTD here in Houston.
#4-Ebay when I can obtain New old stock/ OEM parts.

The three first places have all proven that they appreciate my business when it really matters: when I have had to return a faulty part. A certain other. A certain other online merchant who saw thousands of my hard earned dollars gave me hell when I wanted to return a cheap part worth a couple of hundred. They are no longer on my list

Word of advise; Never, ever, under any circumstances, buy any electrical parts that are not OEM...that does not mean you have to buy them thru Jaguar, but make sure its from the manufacturer who originally made the parts. After-market coils, CPS, CTS, TPS, sensors or anything electric is a no-no.

OTOH, Hoses, break pads, shocks, etc can be of even better quality and recommended if aftermarket

In my experience "always" and "never" are notoriously troublesome words :-)

:-) True....
but that has been my experience with all the aftermarket coils, MAF and CTS I bought. I am no longer willing to take the risk to save a few dollars. And I do keep on reading posts on aftermarket coils failing...

I've had some problems of my own as well with a/m parts....coils most recently, yes. Still, though, "Never, ever, under any circumstances....." might not be fair :-)
