I am refitting the windscreen and SS trim and the door seals and associated bits after some work on the body and paint.
Looking for any advice from those who have been here before. Two questions;

1.0 The windscreen. When I removed it and item 4 in the sketch below, the upper edge finisher I think there was some sort of adhesive foam seal on the back of this? Anybody know if there's meant to be anything on the back of this between it and the body or is it just held in place with the clips (12 & 13) which are riveted to the top edge of the body?


2.0 When installing the door seal guide, item 2 in the sketch below, again when I removed this I think there was a collapsible foam seal stuck to the back of item 2 when it came off. Anybody remember this on their cars? What other sealing in the form of flexible mastic or foam strips should be included if any?
