Default Wiper blades for "Shepards Crook" style arms

My '85 XJS (US model) has "shephard's crook" style wiper arms, instead of the pin type. The end of the arm looks like a "J". From what I can tell, the pin type superseded to the shephards crook style somewhere along the way, and my cars arms were changed out. I can't find blades that fit properly. The cradle that the crook fits into is too wide, and the wiper blades are sloppy on the arms, so they don't clean well.

Anyone else run into this problem? Anyone found blades that fit properly? Several years ago, shephards crook style blades came with two different sizes of cradles, but the new ones don't appear to.

Jon

I would recommend the Rain-X WeatherBeater/Expert Fit (found at walmart). They seem to fit snugly from what I remember when I had them on our truck.

I bought some generic Bosch ones. Fitted and fine.

idk how to say this without sounding like a butt, but j hook wipers are like the most common wiper blade there is. I buy whatever 15" is at the store for my XJS. I'm not sure what you are talking about.

Idk if they still are, but welshent recently had them on sale for $1.00
