I got my wiper motor going plugged it in and nothing. Does anyone know which relay I’m got to look at. And maybe give me an idea on some others

According to my schematics a 1989 XJS "wiper delay relay" can be found under the dash on the RH side component panel. It'll be blue and have blue/light green, orange/light green, red/light green, and black wires.

I'm not sure a failure of this relay would cause the wipers to be totally inoperative as I'm on my first cuppa coffee.

I presume you've checked the fuse?
