I have since fitted some 1975-1980 XJ-S wiper arms. They were also used on the Series XJ6/12 cars as well. They are Trico arms/frames, the kind found on most classic cars that are made to last the life of the car and you only have to slide out/in the new rubber blades. Here's a pic :-)
