Default XJ-S standing miles times?

Anyone know the standing mile times for the various versions of the XJ-S? Any other modified XJ-S times?

very few XJSs have been run at top speed standing mile,0mph till the end of a measured mile, mph.

a guy Chadburn Boles had a modded 6L that ran at MAXTON Mile in N. carolina, went 175mph ( i think). i been to the Texas mile Goliad, never seen any XJSs.

best Jaguar was an XTR,or something,, went 155mph.

for reference, the BIG boys and there toys,AKA unlimited money,, shoot for no less than 200mph,in a standing mile, and on a 3500lb car that requires no less than 800hp.

the record at Goliad is 273MPH on a motorcycle, not counting JET cars, that are not wheel driven!

and fastest car is a Twinturbo Lambo ,at 253mph, 1400HP.
so going REALLY FAST takes a lot of money.HAHA.

and again for reference,, Bonneville is a flying mile, they give you 1-2 miles to get up to speed then measure you thru a mile.

for a little trivia, watch out for modded 93-97 TOYOTA SUPRAs, inline 6cylinder, did hold the record at goliad,Texas Mile, at 246mph, he drives it on the street, and YES its fast!!

hey its only a little inline 6, 3.4L with a turbo the size of a watermellon.

they are a FUN car never the less.
at the local road course,Mazda MIATAs just blow past em , with no effort.
