If anyone is parting out a car or has an alarm box for sale I would be interested.

I have a facelift 92 v-12 convertible. My car came factory direct with about every power option available except the bag phone and the Alarm system box even though the car is fully wired for it.
I need the box that plugs into the connector located in the right rear trunk.

Oh, and the remote/key would be an added plus.

You will also need the relays that go under the glovebox, the horn that goes under the front left wing "fender" and the valet switch with the red LED.


Key fobs can be programed.

I have all of those items except the fob.

As I said my car was factory wired for an alarm I am just missing the box that mounts in the right boot well and the fob.

I suspect that the alarm box was removed at some time after the car was originally sold.

I believe the fob which would have come with my car would have been separate from the key.

 

Ok...if your sure. I believe all '91 like mine onwards cars are wired for the alarm BUT it isn't always fitted........When l bought my car the alarm wasn't fitted so l bought the kit from Jaguar and fitted it. That's how l know what bits you will need.


Easy to check if you think that yours was fitted, although why someone would remove it ......


Do you have the black rocker valet switch and red led on the steering column by the indicator stalk ? You can also check under the front left wing behind the removable panel for the alarm horn

As for the fob l believe you need one for 318 mhz. can sometimes find them on flebay.

Nope, gave up on finding a box.

 

i have some brand new genuine Jaguar alarm components for our cars , sounder, looms etc etc

do you have the part numbers you need or can i send a pic, as i'm unsure of the ' alarm box '

Attached are 5 photos of the security/alarm box taken from my 93 XJS. Took out by PO. He claimed it drained the battery. Is this what you are seeking?
