Sorry guys.. But 'they' scrapped the road tax years ago and the money collected is no longer for the road upkeep. That's why the cleaver bar stewards renamed it vehicle tax and the money goes into the general tax hole.

And as for cycle ways...A great idea, now lets tax cycles a few pounds a year to use them. Maybe call it cycleway tax. Oh and how about insurance so when the pratt takes you mirror off he can replace it. Or how about a law that says they must have lights too......even, God forbid, stop at red lights....guess this could go on and on...lol

That's why I'm restoring her at the moment. In 3 years she'll get H plates and then only be around €200/year in roadtax... Will never be my daily driver though. That is why I habe a much cheaper ecobangerjag
