Am trying to remove the passenger seat from my 1991 convertible XJS but the seat will only move an inch or so forwards or backwards, its basically stuck in the middle of the runners and i obviously cant access the bolts to remove. The relay cuts in fine and the motor runs ok but, does anyone know what tells the motor that the position is satisfied? Is there a sensor or something? Also is there a manual way of removing the seat from the runners??
