Default XJS fuel pump fuse location?

I know there are several fuse boxes through out a 1994 XJS 4.0 Does anyone have a layout of the fusebox locations and what fuses are within those boxes?

Hi Brewtech

The Fuel Pump Fuse is located in the Boot/Trunk near the Rear Lamp Cluster on the Drivers Side of a RHD (UK) Car and yours should also be on the right hand side.

The Fuse box is located behind a piece of side carpet trim, where you might also usually find the electric Ariel.

The Fuses are in a 6in Plastic Box with a pull off lid, where the fuse in question is Number 12 which is a 20 Amp Fuse but if your Petrol Pump isn't working then the In-Tank Fuel Pump 'may' need replacing, which is a Total PIA Job! ask me how I know or rather don't!

Any V12 owners reading this, there is No Fuel Pump Fuse on a V12 Car

Got it thanks! The pump was replaced not long ago with an upgrade. Ive yet to understand why, but the PO told me that he could not find a factory replacement so he had to upgrade the pump. So I did notice that theres been some rewiring of the fuel pump and a crimped wire tap that may be faulty. I kept blowing fuses but, after some messing around with the wire attached to the relay base, it quit blowing fuses. Now the car runs again🙄

Btw, I have an owners manual but cannot find a guide to the fuses and relays. Was there one included? If not do you mind sharing a list of all of the fuses back there. Thanks!

Hi Brewtech

If you have the Owners Manual, all the Fuses and their Locations and what they do are in there

You want the Book that says 'Vehicle Care' and all the Fuses and their Locations are from Page:44 onwards

There are basically 4 Locations

(1) Under the Bonnet/Hood

(2) Under the Passenger Knee Pad (Drop down flap)

(3) Under the Drivers Knee Pad (Drop down shelf)

(4) Behind some Carpet Trim, where the Ariel is located near the rear light cluster (Drivers Side on a UK Car) should be also the same for LHD
