I'd like to know what the highest mile XJS is. I've seen them advertised with a little over 200k miles.

If you post, let us know the year and the type of engine it has in it.

Mine's certainly not the highest but a 1991 5.3 V12 with about 110,000 miles.

Mine is just a baby with 80k but I know 2 owners in the JEC with AJ16-engined cars, one with 240k, one with over 250k. Neither car has ever had the head off. I suspect the biggest mileage XJS without a cylinder head off will be an AJ16 car, even though they are so much newer than most V12s.

my 1991 5.3 just clicked over 106,000, and i've driven it around the entire country, literally.

also dont believe its had the heads off.
