I was posting over on the "girls in Jaguars" topic in the "Of Topic" forum and noticed that two out of the three Playboy playmates that choose XJS as cars met tragic ends:

Dorothy Stratten-playmate of the year 1980-killed in 1980 by her crazy boyfriend:



Anna Nicole Smith-playmate of the year 1993-drug OD After her sons death



And then of course you have The Princess of Wales:

Joan Jett's is in a museum or collection of some sort. Interesting stuff!

 

Lady Di's XJS is in the Coventry Museum in England. I toured the museum in 2014.

 

It's hard to tell which is the most beautiful: The ladies or the cars.

 

For me that sentiment is particular to Dorothy Stratten, Anna Nicole, Barbara Edwards and specially Jerry Hall.

Franks XJS was for sale last year. Expected to sell for $45-65000. Probably in some guys collection now

 

2Pac was also the one who owned an XJS and met tragic death.
