XJS switch replacement

Is there a secret to removing the rear defogger and fog light switch on a 1994 XJS. It does have trip computer. I do not want to mar the wood trim.

As per responses to your earlier other thread, you carefully prise them out from the veneer using a plastic trim removal tool or similar.
