Default XJS Wheels

I have a 1990 XJS with 15" wheels (6.5" 28mm offset). Does anyone know if 16" XJ6 (7" 33mm offset) wheels will fit? Thanks!

It probably depends on the year of the XJ6. I have a set of the 17" slotted wheels from the '94-'97 XJR (X-300 platform), which fit perfectly, and will go on my '84 XJS when I finish it's current transformation project. I've heard that the later XJS wheels won't fit properly, and I'm not sure they are hub-centric, as are the wheels of the XJS and earlier XJ6s.
Hopefully, you will also get a reply from someone who is more familiar with the XJ6.

Thanks, my only concern is if they will be too wide and rub the body in the rear.

They should fit. I just bought some 20 spoke alloys that were used on the later XJS and XJ6. They are 7" wide with a 33mm offset and they fit my 87 XJS fine with a 225/60 16 tire. Any XJS wheel will work, no matter what year it came off of.

They should fit fine front and rear.

Default xk8 wheels

Here is my 1988 with XK8 wheels. Replacing radiator and tucking bumper so it looks like too much gap in front wheel. The wheels fit perfectly with only a 4mm spacer up front so the center can be used.
