Has anyone found a supplier for a wiper arm to fit a 1989 xjs with electrolux

Any XJS wiper arm will fit.

I'm not sure that's quite true. At least for US cars, there was a change in which side the wipers parked on. They went from parking on the left to parking on the right, and the arms have a bend to suit. The change was around 1989, not sure if it was tied to the change in motor or not. I have no idea how RHD cars handled it.

 

The change to a cranked drivers arm happened at the point when the motors changed, which is at VIN 152510 which is May 1988.

We DIY guys crank the arm to suit in the workshop! Every pre facelift XJS wiper arm can benefit from a crank! But thanks for the info, I thought that RGP was rferring to the spindle and length.
