XJS/Xj12 Injector rebuild
Does anyone know a good source of information about how to clean, obtain parts and rebuild XJS v12 / Xj12 injectors. I have three cars i'm building or recommissioning and the injectors are stuck and require new pipework to cope with modern fuels - I'm OK doing the job myself if a can get parts and advice. thx

Hi Derek
You can see how I did my injectors about 3/4 down on Page 10. of my 'Cherry Blossom' restoration Thread
Here is a Link to that page: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...122634/page10/
There is also no better time to Change all the Spark Plugs than when that Fuel Rail is out of the way and that only took me Two Days! https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-122634/page8/
When you put the Injectors back after Cleaning, you are going to need to use some new Injector sealing rings
Tiny little rubber rings that slide over the Injector Tips to prevent any Petrol splashing out and while I was looking around for these
I came across quite a few places that were charging around £24 for Twelve!
Which was more than I paid for a New Set of Spark Plugs!
So as you are in the UK I would recommend that you order these from Britcar where if I remember correctly 12 of these Injector Seals were only around £5 Jaguar Parts, Spares and Accessories | Britcar UK Ltd

Which style injectors do you have? Depending on the age of the injector, and the car I always use Witchhunter. It's one and done with them, and they flow match them and send a nice report back to you.
