My back up (a.k.a. Rear camera) when displayed in the touch screen has some flicker. Not a big deal, but I’d like to see what might be the cause. But, I can’t find any schematic information on it.
Does anyone know, or have information, on how the video image gets from the camera to the touch screen unit? Ideas: Does the camera connect direct to the touch screen display unit? Is there some kind of video converter between the camera and the display unig? Does the camera connect to the navigation computer, which does all the video control for the navigation?
Video signal from camera goes directly to the touch screen. Regular coax cable is used for a video.
Camera itself is activated over a LIN bus by the aux junction box.
There is a FAKRA connector on the back of the TSD where the coax connects. It may have a intermittent connection or be loose or something. Course, the camera may be failing also, or any of 17th hundred other things. Me, I would check that connector first. Not difficult.

Thanks…do you know if there are any other connectors between the camera & tsd?
