So original battery was still in car and giving me issues so I replaced it. Push start button and car indicates "does not recognize key fob insert into slot" and I did so. Push start button everything lights up bells start ringing all display panels fire up but nothing to starter. Push start button again everything shuts off. Starter not engaging. Nothing wrong with the car starting or starter prior to changing battery. I spect I have to press the brake pedal five times turn on left blinker and flash my lights or something to reset everything??? HELP!

 

Disconnect the battery for a minute or so and then reconnect it again. It is possible the systems did not reset properly the first time.

 

Hmmm interesting, and it worked! The British have such a sense of humor.
