Default 19" Caravela wheel spacers

Hi

Looking to get wheel spacers for my x150 2009.

Currently I've got stock 19" Caravela rims.

There's multitude of threads where the sweet spot seems to be 20mm front / 15mm rear but that's for 20" rims in different flavors.
  1. Has anyone tried spacing the Caravelas? Is 20/15 still the best option to go with?
  2. Just to make sure, the params are 5x108, 63.4 mm central hole?
  3. Do the Caravelas have spaces where original pins can hide in case when spacer is too small to accommodate them fully?
  4. Any reason I shouldn't choose Eibach over H&R spacers?
  5. What's the ballpark cost of these plastic rear arch protectors that keep the rear bumper from being scratched by debris coming from wider wheels?
Photo of the patient with mentioned rims

Thanks in advance!

Whoa, looks perfect!

Did they fit without any modifications / filing?
You just take the wheel of, screw on the spacer, put the wheel on?

Is it 15mm on both axles?

Do you maybe have a link to specific product?

15mm on both axles, a mechanic made the mounting during an inspection four years ago - no problems known. Sorry, no link available.

One more question, did you fit the rear bumper protectors? These little plastics that prevent debris from rear wheels from hitting the bumper?

Also, what lowering springs did you use?

No plastic "protectors" - lowered with H&R also, yes. ;-)

H&R's 35mm is a lot!

No problems with driveshafts after all this time? Same with CATS? They list them as non compatible with CATS

I believe the ‘spats’ were factory fitted for cars shipped with 20” wheels. You can buy them separately, I don’t recall the part number. Bought a set for my XK, but haven’t installed them.
