Default 20 inch Kalimnos Wheels Offset Size

Does anyone know the offset size for the 20 inch Kalimnos wheels? I may have an opportunity to purchase a set in the high gloss black. I am hoping they will fit my 2008 XK. I currently have the 20 inch Senta Wheels, but I think this high gloss black would look great against my Emerald Fire Pearl color. Thank you in advance for any information.

The Kalimnos wheels will not fit.

The 2007 - 2009 offset is Front: 46, Rear 29

Kalimnos (XK version) were designed to fit 2010+ XK/R. Front offset is 49, rear is 46.

The front might fit, but the rear definitely will not. The rear would extend beyond the edge of the fender

Will attach a picture that illustrates offsets

BTW, if you decide not to get the wheels, I have been looking for those myself. I would appreciate a heads up/info on them. Thanks

Thanks for the information. That stinks. I was going to order them through Jaguar of Naples. I spoke with a guy named Sam in their parts department. He verified that they were in stock and ready for shipment. Their number is (239) 280-5101. I even have the part numbers if you wanted them. Let me know. Happy Motoring...

They would fit with spacers. The higher the offset the more the wheels will go "in" , away from the outer fender. The lower the offset, the more the wheels will push "out", closer to the outer fenders. Just add 10mm spacers to the front and 20mm spacers to the rear and voila...

Default Source for Spacers

djgold,

How did you determine the spacer thickness? If it's simply the difference between offsets, then 10mm for the front is right but shouldn't the rear be 17mm?

If anyone is needs a source for spacers, I can recommend Motorsport-Tech in Nevada. They custom manufacture excellent quality hub centric spacers in virtually any thickness, hub diameter, and bolt pattern. Talk to Lenny Jr. and tell him that I sent you. His prices are reasonable. See their website:We manufacture the best Wheel Spacers money can buy | Motorsport Tech The XK/XKR bolt pattern is 5x108mm with a 63.4mm hub diameter.

I bought a hub centric spacer from them to use with a compact spare to enable it to fit on the rear of my car. See this post: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-brakes-67260/

Hope this helps.

Stuart

Bahhh... +26 or +29 offset, not much difference... You won't be able to tell and it will fit no problem... Easy to find 10mm and 20mm spacers...

Hello gang
excuse me for reviving an old thread but I’m doing some research on offsets and boy I’m getting more confused by the minute Lol
Can anybody confirm what djgold is saying in his post here?
I am in the exact situation with the same rims on practically the same exact car.

Looking at Post #2 above, and the offsets involved, the fronts should fit fine, and for the rears, you could probably go with either 15mm or 20mm spacers (otherwise the wheels will be inset too far).
20mm would probably look better, and its less likely that you'd have to cut a bit of the studs off if the studs because they hit the backside of the wheel.
An even better look might be 25mm or even 30mm, to push the wheels out further to the edge of the wheel well, but you'd need to check for possible rubbing.

You are going from a 20" 26mm (19" are 31mm) offset rear to a 20" 46mm (19" are 51mm) offset rear. So 46-26= 20mm Spacers to put you exactly back where you were. Thicker if you want to bump them out. Max is probably 35mm for you since 15mm spacers seems to be the limit on the 46mm offset on my 2010.

Hope that helps,

Dave

Here is an example of a 2010-up Factory Wheels on a 2008 ...note how far it is inset in the wheel well.

Here it is corrected with 25mm spacers (5mm over "stock")...

Default Question

Hello
to Stewart or anyone else who’s Knowledged on this topic. While custom building spacers on motorsport-tech.com it asked me select CENTRICITY
two different options
1) hub centric to vehicle hub or
2) hubcentric to vehicle and wheel centric to wheel
???? Which is the correct choice for our vehicles???

Thanks again

From my post #57 in this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-brakes-67260/

"Either spacer will work, but...
I recommend that you order b) Hub Centric to Vehicle and Wheel Centric to Wheel. That spacer has a lip that is designed to fit over the load-bearing surface of the hub and fit snugly into the wheel center hole. That spacer, in effect, becomes an integral part of the wheel and distributes the load of the wheel and tire to the load bearing surface of the vehicle hub, which is much stronger than the wheel studs. ..."
