anyone know how to remove the cover around the outside of the power antenna. i bought a new mast but not sure how to remove the cover to get to the bolt without causing any damage..... thanks

I figured it out as I just replaced the mast on mine. I'm doing a HOW TO write up on it so watch for it. The bottom of the plastic cover is a rubber grommet that fits to the hole in the body. So, just gently twist and wiggle it up and out and then pull it up and off the antenna. I used some plastic interior panel removal tools that helped with this process that I purchased at Harbor Freight. Watch for my post on the entire process to replace the mast, with photos.
