2007 Jaguar XK dashboard went blank and car won't start
I was driving my car and the dashboard went dark. My gauges are stuck. I tried disconnecting the battery post but nothing. Windshield wipers not working, windows. Do anyone know the problem
Nearly EVERY electrical problem with these cars is battery related. Can/did you check the battery voltage? It should be 12.6 or so to have close to a good battery. If not, why did the battery go flat? Merely an old and worn out battery? Check the date on it. Also, bring the battery to an Auto Parts store, most do a battery check for free, but usually you'll need to put it on a charger for 24 hours beforehand. Not a "maintainer" or "trickle charger", but an actual battery charger.
If your battery checks good, then there is probably a problem with the alternator/charging system.

I'd also suggest just pulling the battery out and taking it for a test. Mine held 12.8 vdc but failed under the slightest load. A battery tender has been keeping it alive until my replacement shows up.
