Well dang, you're correct.

 

Can you clarify why the fact that your car has just one reverse light (regardless of which side it is on) is an issue for the provincial approval? Or is the situation the following: with the transmission in reverse the fog lamp (rather than the white reverse lamp) comes on? Your car legally needs just one white reverse lamp. It does not need any rear fog guard.

and if the rear light clusters on your car are reversed ( that is, the white and red fog lamps are reversed) would that lead you to suspect that at some point there was accident damage to the rear and the wrong units were installed?

 

One reverse lamp is fine for provincial approval.
It just needs to be white.
Also, both were Red. Somehow a UK fog lamp was installed on car.
This is now fixed.
The only pain I have now is to get the window tint adhesive off the windows. Argh.

 

For the adhesive, carburetor cleaner works fantastic, on a soft scrubby pad. Takes not much time and little mess. Just be careful to not get any on other surfaces.
