Default 2008 XKR, Dimensions?

Hi,

Hope someone can help.

Does anyone know the measurement from the outside of the rear tyre passenger side to the outside of the rear tyre drivers side.

I am trying to book the car onto motorail and need the measurement.

Thanks in anticipation

regards

Unless they are planning on chopping off your mirrors and flattening the side panels, will overall width (2070 mm) do?

I guess they need the wheel-to-wheel width because of the channels the wheels have to sit in. The rear track on your car is 1598 mm, which is measured between the centrelines of the wheels. Assuming the wheels are 20" and the tyres are 285s, you add the width of a tyre (i.e. 2 x half a tyre on each side) to the track to get the edge-to-edge measurement - so edge-to-edge would be 1598+285=1883 mm

Thanks Gents, I really appreciate your help.

The maximum allowed is 1.85, I'm 3.3 cm too wide, looks like its the Ford Mondeo this time.

Regards
