Default 2011 Fogs and reverse lights

Okay, sorry to beat a dead horse, but I have 3 questions about my 2011 XK convertible.
1. One or two rear fog lights?
2. One or two reverse lights?
3. What’s the fix for no license tag lights?
TIA,
Bill

No no no, that’s the 4.2L cars. The OP has a 2011, so 5L, and that means 2 rear fogs and 2 reverse lights.

For item #3, if it’s not bad bulbs, then it’s a known issue on the 2010-2011 cars. There’s a TSB about it too. See this thread:

And post #37 in this thread:

Thanks guys. So, both reverse lights work and the tag lights came on.
So, the left rear fog light does not work. I see the red LEDs, but they are not operable. The center white section is the reverse light and it is fine.
I suppose the entire unit needs to be replaced…..how difficult is it?
thanks

They unbolt through the boot, accessible once the liner is removed. They are not User Serviceable though, so you'll either need replacements or do the very involved LED replacement procedure.

I've done the LED replacement; ultra tiny LED DIP's. Amazing how much light comes out of these tiny chips. Remove taillight assembly, and fog light LED's are on a separate daughter-board. Fortunately I have access to an SM workstation, so was able to flow the new chips back on. Not an operation for the faint-of-heart... The left taillight can easily be accessed, but the right side unit needs the trunk lid cover removed.
