That was a long drive, and would be a challenge for most people's bodies doing a 30 hour drive over just 2 days! The most I've done in a day have been 11-12 hours in a Supra numerous times, but never on back to back days.

Nice to have the opportunity, desire and willingness to go on a long road trip in a car like this. Long after you've forgotten the girl's name you'll still remember that drive and appreciate the car that much more for having done the trip in it!

We're planning a major road trip in the Viper that will head from Toronto to New Orleans for a meeting, and then probably along the Gulf to Texas and then a stay in San Antonio before heading north again. We did a 10 day road trip last summer that included two days on track and are primed to stretch its legs a little more.

Women don't like competition, particularly when the competition has beauty and style and your attention.

 

This might make you feel better. One of my associates hit the online dating world after a bustup. He was a youngish successful professional but couldnt find anyone meeting his exacting requirements, which always seemed to me to be high on breasts and hemlines and low on pretty much everything else.


Anyway he found "the one". Unfortunately she lived in Europe, he lives in Australia. So after trading emails for months including numerous airbrushed photos, no doubt from both sides, and despite my pointing out that it was suspicious that the lady wore huge sunglasses even inside, and at night, plans were made to meet in south east asia for a holiday funded by him.


Off he went, and I got a phone call from him in a state of distress. Essentially she has arrived at the airport and when the glasses came off she looked as though she had been hit in the face by a spade.


So he wanted to come home but I convinced him to stay and just have a holiday. He then manages to convince the poor lady to return to Europe the next day and headed off to what is essentially a honeymoon destination by himself, where he sat around a pool for a week watching happy couples cavort.


The cost of the entire debacle was probably well over $10,000, but we are having a good laugh about it now.

 

I would have told her she had to sit in the back and then leave her off on the outskirts of town on my way home.

 

Yeah its like what did they think would happen when ya finally meet? You know what I mean?? wowza!

The car was fantastic for 4300 in a week
