Cee Jay. Real easy to always answer search. Maybe we are all not idiots and have searched. As a veteran member your kind of a jerk to the new members. If you are so smart send the links

And as for your statement, it's not my job to do the research and post links.

For the Newbies ...
The Forum's Search function is in the black bar at the top of the page. Click it to reveal the Advanced Search dropdown. Advanced Search is particularly useful if you want to search by Username. It's complicated but worth learning how to use.
A much faster and easier way to search this Forum is to use Google.
In the Search box, type Jaguar X150 Forums followed by several key words that summarize what you want to know. Press Enter and see the results.
Note that there is another similar forum without the "s". You want Jaguar X150 Forums.

Thanks for the suggest. Last month, I looked for duckbill. There are 200+ replies. Read thru all of those or just start another thread depending on complexity? Send people to search only if it's a simple question? I think marking a thread "Resolved" would ID solutions that worked. I did read thru all those duckbills, it took a long time and wasn't always useful. I found great suggests (and a tool design) and solved the problem for 200 (rather than 2-3k). So glad this forum is here!

You're right. In my defense, I did a guesstimate of 25% each version. Not even close. This question has been asked many times. Using JF search, type in "Production Numbers 2007 and 2010". Scroll to kjXK07's answer. The 3rd link gives % of each version (not numbers) but is incredibly detailed (down to color). Was 2009 XK production total around 7,249? If Portfolio Cvt is 10.0%, then that means just 724 were made. That sound even close to what you've come up with? Was JCNA helpful with your question? Different numbers, different sites, production year vs MY, worldwide or US, etc make this a challenge.

So using 14,050 total (per JF post) for production year 06 (MY 07), my XKR (if 13.0%) is one of 1,8266 made. Indigo Blue (7.9% total) was color of choice on 1,109 cars.
Good Car, Bad Car only shows XK's unless I'm missing something. You're right, JCNA is the best way to get numbers. Just curious if other sources are any good.

There's a significant difference between the 4.2L and 5.0 Portfolios sold in the North American market.
The XKR Portfolio was a separate, top-of-the-line model offered in 2008 and 2009 in coupes and convertibles. All 2008 XKR Portfolios were Celestial Black and all 2009 XKR Portfolios were Shadow Grey.
For 5.0L models, Portfolio was an optional trim package and not a separate model.
