This statement on much going into a jaguar to make it “alive” it’s so true. Earlier in the week while picking up my jaguar from dealership The service center attendant was admiring my jag & had an interesting fact to tell me. For example were any of you aware the starter button pulsates at a resting heart rate of a living jaguar 🐆 72 bpm. pretty cool!, I sure as heck wasn’t…kinda wanted to sit there for a minute & count the beats but figured maybe some other time 😂 anyhow just thought it was a nice touch on jaguars end.

Much has gone into a Jaguar to make it "Alive" it was even part of their marketing slogan recently. And Jaguar said the XKR was the most 'alive' thing they have ever made.

I did not even need to get into one. Even my designer friends remarked on first glance that it was the outline of a leopard at rest.

Our current car, a 2016 Mustang GT Premium, at 435 horsepower, is not slouch. But the XKR acceleration is a totally different level. Not sure if today's car is the one but there's no question our next car is going to be an XKR.
And be quick, because I’m quite amazed how many XK and XKR’s is for sale here in Norway wich has been imported/ shipped over from the U.S.

I am older and very picky. I did not want just a XKR. I wanted a pristine XKR that someone took good care of it. I really searched for a year and half. Missed one in Miami and one in Dallas. If you find one you better jump on it. Verts are everywhere but the pristine coupes are hard to find. When my car came up on Autotrader, it was a Sunday. I emailed the dealer for pictures that day. The dealer sent me 30 pictures of the car. I could tell by looking some one took care of it. I put 1000 non refundable down to hold it for 3 days site unseen. The rest is history. I did put a new supercharger coupler and water pump in it after I bought it. Since I had it apart for the coupler, I just went ahead and replaced the water pump. Although there were no problems with the one it came with. Pros and cons of that. Get all the info you can on it, and jump on it. You will not regret it. If you don't like it, it will sell fast on resale. Every time I ride in my 2013 XKR and punch it, I grin from ear to ear. If money is not an problem, Chazaroo's XKR looks tasty. I have noticed that the prices have gone up on xkrs. Good luck.
