I want to remove the overhead panel on my 2007 convertible XK for connection of my Garmin Dash Cam (12VDC pwr). Just want a little advise on where to apply a tool and relative force requirements for removal. Please share any experience related to this panel (see attached photo). Thanks ......

 

From the workshop manual:



2 clips at the front, 2 on the sides near the front, 2 on the rear corners.

Also, if that doesn't allow you to put the cam where you want it, there's switched power in the rear-view mirror. The cover for the base of it comes apart in two halves, L & R.
