Default 26k Mile 2008 XKR Portfolio Coupe on BaT

This gorgeous, low mileage, 2008 XKR Portfolio Coupe was just listed on Bring-A-Trailer, and is worth a look if you're interested. It has the Ivory/Charcoal interior, Alcon Performance Brake Package, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Spun Aluminum dashboard trim. It appears to be pristine and unmolested, and even has the original Ivory leather-bound Leaper logo floor mats.

Very nice one.
It will probably sell for triple the current high bid.

I hope to not be busy, and can catch the last hour of the auction. Some commenters are saying nice things about it, including me .

Yeah some guy from CA really likes the 07-09 XKR's. Maybe he'll bid on it. Also some guy "jjd" commented about it being a 1 in a million Brit car since it didn't leak oil or loose parts. Was scratching my head thinking no one looking at a 08 XKR Portfolio is that stupid. If you look at his bid history, he won bidding on a 2008 XKR Portfolio, 2013 Supercharged Land Rover, Triump Stag and multiple other cars. Just sold a 2001 XKR (I think)

BaT just pulled this 2008 XKR Portfolio off their website!

No reason was stated. It's possible that the seller sold that vehicle or ... ???

If it seems too good to be true, it is.

I’m confused. Do you mean this one, that we’ve been discussing? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...uar-xkr-coupe/

I just went to the site, recent $25,000 bid in, and it says it has about 4 hours to go....?

Yes, it's still there now. I don't know what happened, but when I clicked on the link in my Post #1 a few minutes ago was deleted.

I wonder if BaT is having one of “those days”. I clicked a few other auctions, and got the “ 404 not found” message.

At any rate, this XKR is showing strong interest. I bet it will exceed $30,000 at the end.

Be interesting to see if it goes higher than the $36.6K that the 07 salsa red XKR went for last week.

By contrast, I bought my 2010 XKR Vert ten years ago for $35,000. Near perfect condition, CPO.

I keep looking at this Aston Martin, wondering about the continued support for our XKR's

32,500 winning bid. Not surprised, the car was a perfect example. Stuart, the Portfolio edition has some very nice upgrades.

Nice to see that the XKs (07-15) have finally shown values appreciating after a long downward trend. This of course is for the low mileage pristine examples of which this was one of them.

That was a coupe, with the spun aluminum dashboard trim. "Acres of tinfoil ", as Jeremy Clarkson quipped. That was Jaguar's option to appeal to younger buyers instead of the traditional genuine wood veneer. Some like it, but to me, Jaguar means genuine leather and real wood.
.

My 2009 XKR Portfolio has the Rich Oak veneer, which was exclusive to the Portfolio models. The leather is Ivory and Slate.

When the top goes down, the price goes up!

@Stuart S absolutely a great color/trim combo. I'm too paranoid to buy lite interior cars, but when I see one in good shape I'm definitely envious.
