The black hex mounting screws sick out like dogs ***** plus how does one getting into DS mode it’s blocked off !!!
With a few simple tweaks silver hex grub screws and unblocking off the DS option I think it would in fact it would look suitable .... so Very close to a replacement

I have used the overlay after painting the chrome edges with satin black to make sure they are not visible after fitting.

I am happy with the result as the peeling chrome was really annoying in a car where the rest of the interior is immaculate
