The ones I have found have been around $50k. Not the jump I want to make at this time while I have two other cars.

As far as 2013 just my opinion from observation are less reliable than the 07-09 cars .. But maybe you can get one with extended warranty . And no spending 20k more is not worth it but to each their own
I see you're in SD, do you know a tuner down there? Or do you tune yourself?

The engine is the least of my reasons to want the 5.0. The earlier XK's had more elegant & classic Jaguar colors.
I agree with the horizontal side vents but I actually prefer the J gate over the puck.

Thank you to everyone for the input and compliments! Overall after hearing the responses I'm leaning towards keeping the 09. I know the car, I love the car and if I put some more money into it buying parts I'm sure I'll like it even more. It's fast enough to be fun to drive and I think I need to stick to that thought. Even the 5.0 would take a ton of mods to even get me close to today's standard of fast. For reference, I used to own a 13' GTR Black edition 0-60 in 2.8, not much will compare to that car. I know the XKR is a GT so it's not a fair comparison but its more for me to keep in mind to just enjoy the car for what it is.

The plan moving forward would be to get wheel spacers, adjustable coilovers, and replace any bushings that need to addressed. It should give the car an even better stance as well as improve handling. After that, I'll look into a pulley and tune.

I'd say stick with the devil you know. You will have 17 grand in your pocket if you do. I can't imagine you would need to spend 17k on your current car so on the new car you would never break even. Also, you have clearly done a lot of stuff to your current car - you will never find another car that looks like your current car, so you will end up spending more on top of the buying price to customise it the way you want it. Good luck whatever you decide to do - keep us posted!
