Default Advice wanted bleeding Alcon brakes

After 3 long hour days, I am finished installing Alcon brakes on my 2009 XK. I need advice on purging all the brake lines. I have done this 2x starting with the passaanger rea,, driver rear, passenger front and driver front. I purged the inner valve on the Alcon brakes first then the outer valve on each caliper. The brake pedal still feels squishy. That tells me there is still air somewhere in the system. I am at my wits end.... any advice?

Just asking….

1 are you using new shell DOT4 ESL, or equivalent (Brembo LV? Pentosin LV? Motul LV?) ?
2 are you tightening the bleed screw with the brake pedal fully depressed?
Or are you using the “jar method”?

3 Also, have you followed the pinpoint test procedure from the workshop manual?
Reason I ask,
4 some forget the importance of bleeding the brake with both the engine running, and not running.

First go around, I used the “jar” method. 2nd time around, I had a helper depress tge pedal fully and hold. I’m not familiar with the pinpoint method you mentioned. I am using DOT 4 brake fluid

Also… I didn’t see an ABS valve body anywhere near the master cylinder. I tried to purge with my Snap On Scanner. It didn’t give my tge option of purging ABS which leads me to believe there is no ABS.

I think you need to do both sides of the caliper at the same time - I used the "jar" method with the two tubes in one jar.

Since mine is tracked, I've done them many times. I used a pneumatic power bleeder which pressurises the reservoir. Starting with the right rear, bleed the outside first, then the inner on each caliper. move to the rear left then right front, finishing with left front. If at any point something goes wrong with air getting in, you have to start the procedure over. If using teh "jar" method, make certain the bleed hose remains submerged in fluid.
