After exactly 1 year of searching....
Just got done driving it home, 4 hours from Maryland to PA.
Was not the color or the wheels I had been after but a clean example at a reasonable price (did a little better than advertised) was most important. The white and the wheels have really grown on me, I think it looks very classy but also very sporty.
One owner, 35K miles, they said she purchased as corporate then leased it back.

Love the ride! My 96 VDP is in outstanding condition and runs like new but what a difference.
Question becomes whether or not to sell the VDP???

Very pretty XK that appears to have been loved and well taken care of by the original owner. Those chrome wheels appear to be the "Cremona" style, which were exclusive to the top-of-the-line, limited-edition 2008 XKR Portfolio models. That's an expensive upgrade from the original XK wheels.
I'd keep the VDP unless you really need the money. It accommodates 4 adults comfortably. The XK is really a 2-seater with extravagant leather grocery bag holders masquerading as seats in the rear.
Enjoy the new ride!
P.S. I'm wrong - they're not Cremona wheels. See Post #9, below. They're Sabre. Easily confused.

Thank you.
Yes, they said she was torn about getting rid of it but I guess the Grand Turismo that she traded for helped take away some of the pain )
They said they would never normally keep a trade that old but, as you said, it was very clean and well kept. Hopefully it brings me as many years of enjoyment.

Wow, thanks Winston...that's a neat little tidbit about Pam'. You know I have to flash that picture around now telling everyone she asked me if she could sit in it
Can you guys tell me what the best battery and ctek model would be for me, so far under the search function I've come across the
Odyssey PC1700 AGM and CTEK MUS4.3 or MX5 5.0. Agree? Also, the best place to purchase both.
Thanks!

Excellent find and welcome! These cars are becoming harder and harder to find for sure.
It's great when you fine the price / mileage / condition / history combo that works for you. I spent about a year looking for my 09 coupe and I am just crazy about it and use it (almost) as a daily driver. I have it out several times a week year-round (but these cars need to stay parked during any snow / ice for certain).
When I purchased the car, the battery was about four years old so I replaced it with the usual Group 49 AGM. I don't keep it on a maintainer and don't have any battery issues probably because I drive it often. The car has been rock solid and dependable and I hope the same for yours. BTW: small world, I am in your immediate Bucks County area and will keep a lookout for your excellent white coupe.
Congratulations, a total blast to own and drive. For me, the primary trouble of X150 ownership is imagining not having one.

I cheaped out and bought my CTEK MUS4.3 on Amazon.

Thanks for the info, very helpful.
I'm thinking I'm gonna opt for the MUS4.3 too as tempting as the more expensive option is.
BTW...while waiting to dot the i's and cross the t's yesterday I had a chance to check out the grand turismo up close and personal. Wow, I love the Aston's but the new Maserati is absolutely stunning too!
permcbs, thanks for the encouraging words. What color is your coupe? I notice that I spend a lot of time looking for XK's during my commutes.
