Default Air dam lip

Interrogative...Is that little lip around the bottom of my nose factory or aftermarket? I haven't seen it on any other X150's that I've come across.

It is part of the Aerodynamic kit and I have it on my '10 XKR.

It came with the larger rear spoiler as part of the kit.

My 2010 XKR has it... now.

It didn't have when I bought it, the previous owner must have ripped it off on a curb as I only realised it was missing after a few weeks when I was washing the car and found the remnants screwed under the bumper.

I found the 3 pieces on Ebay and the Jaguar Heritage parts website in grey primer, sprayed them red and fitted. Cost about £300 all in IIRC.

Worth noting that the splitter/dam has different part numbers for pre and post 2012 models.

I was under the impression that the speed pack was only available on the coupes and came with 20" wheels and red painted calipers, besides the ECU recalibration. I have 19" wheels and the original window sticker doesn't show that option. Maybe the dealer installed the "dealer option" aero kit which was just the front splitter and side sills.

There were two factory options for 2011 so it sounds like yours just has the Aero Pack. The Speed Pack included the Aero Pack:

Aerodynamic Pack
Body coloured front splitter and body coloured larger rear spoiler (XKR only).

XKR with Speed Pack
Maximum speed increase from 155mph to 174mph (250km/h to 280km/h), 20D Kasuga silver painted alloy wheels, R Performance red brake callipers, body coloured side sill extensions, rear diffuser and body coloured Aerodynamic Pack. (XKR Coupé only).

I'm in the market for at least the center piece of this combo...
2012-up - Front Splitter - Left --- C2P22274XXX $194.47
2012-up - Front Splitter - Center - C2P22276XXX $192.04
2012-up - Front Splitter - Right -- C2P22272XXX $192.04

My center piece has bumped something hard enough to start to tear the plastic from the screw. I'm taking it down today and trying to re-fit it back in place. All 3 pieces have seen better days so I plan to take them to my favorite body shop to get re-finished and painted.
Looking up the prices today, I'm seeing the best prices at Rimmer Bros - https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-C2P22276XXX at $179.29. This is a primed piece. The other 2 sides are $202 (Left), $180 (Right).
Has anyone dealt with this business before? I'm in Illinois - USA. I don't really want a lead time of 1 month if I can help it.

Thanks all!

I took the 3 piece splitter off my 2014 XK Dynamic R purely I was catching it on every speed bump taken at over 10mph (we have a lot in the UK)

Had intended to carbon wrap and refit but have never got around to it.

No issues since removal so may well sell on instead.

And NO I'll not post outside of the UK

To answer you question, rimmerbros is a legit company and they seem to have good prices compared to the average dealer/online retailer stateside. I bought some interior items from Rimmerbros and if memory serves, they showed up in 10 days or so.

FWIW, Im repairing the ones on my wifes XK next week. Years of scraping curb stops in parking lots. My old Esprit had a lip spoiler. Once it meet its demise, I found some yard edging at Home Depot that was almost identical. And yes, I made a new lip spoiler and it was perfect. $13 all in. Im going to put some sort of subtle front lip/spoiler on my XK, just dont know which one yet, but the above mentioned factory 3 piece one is a little spendy for something that is going to get abused.

I have bought at least four of them over the years from Chris at Mina. He doesn't show them on his website any longer but he can still make them, as he has for me and for a forum member in Poland. The first one that I put on, we bondoed the three pieces together and then painted it. I liked it the most that way but flexing in and out of driveways produced small hairline cracks, So when I wrecked that one on too steep a driveway, the next times I left it in three pieces like the factory one. But I still scratch the hell out of them on all but the most gradual driveways. Below is a picture of the first one which we converted to a one piece. I also purchased the side skirts from Chris, as well.

Just back from a 1500-mile road trip, and along the way I crunched mine on a dip in the road coming out of a service station. It was the second time it was damaged like this, but this time it took the center piece clean off. The broken piece was stamped with a Jaguar logo and had a part number engraved in it but didn’t return any hits on search (then I found this thread).

Point is, that while trying to track down the correct piece I took a flier on an Asian imported replacement kit that is advertised on EBay. I had little hope for it, but at the price (~$75), it was worth a flier. Not surprisingly, it was no bueno. Or in this case, bu hao.

Looks like a bit of coin for the replacement pieces, and then paint, so I’m gonna take the 2 side pieces off and call it good for now. I guess I just can’t have nice things.

I am a little concerned that I will then bang the bottom of the front nose piece, which would be worse. Can anyone who took the pieces off comment? Is there enough clearance with the pieces off for day-to-day normal use?

Wife has the three piece spoiler and damaged it. I took it off to fix where it sat on my workbench for three months. In that time, she somehow didnt hit anything. Fixed the spoiler and put it on only to have her kill it again (final time) about a month later. I bought a flexible rubber lip that Im going to try and fit...($30 Ebay). I did something similar on my old Esprit and it worked very well. Plus, if you hit something, you are not out $300-$1,000 bucks.

Thnx. I took mine apart this AM and cleaned and sanded the road rash. The center piece is pretty torn up but I am going to see if I can cobble it back together to look decent. One side piece is fine, the other just has some scuffs that I sanded smooth. I ordered some spray paint and some mounting tape. All in, I've only invested about $60, so we'll see how it goes.

I looked at the rubber trim you refer to. Do please report how it works when you get around to it. Might be Plan B for me.

Will do. I might tackle it tomorrow after gluing hers back together. Yes I said glue as Im not investing any more time for her to practice braille with parking spot curbs. The Mina option sounds good as Im well versed with fixing fiberglass spoilers. Fun fact: next door neighbor has a new corvette with a camera that points down so you dont hit the front spoiler when you park.

Fun Fact #2
I read that the new zo6 package can include a gps+suspention trick that raises the car when it gets to the same location, time after time. (that gps must be pretty accurate)
