Default Alcon brakes vs XKR

Hi! I am happy to own my Jaguar XK vert 2006. The only thing that slightly mars this experience is the sudden lack of brakes. I recently discovered an advertisement selling Alcon brakes from a crashed car. Here in Russia, these are extremely rare. Seller wants ~3500$ just for calipers. My questions are:
1. Are there aftermarket rotors and pads for Alcon brakes or I will have to buy only original ones?
2. Do any repair kits exist in the world, including seals or other components, for rebuilding these brakes?
3. Is there a significant difference between Alcon brakes and the standard XKR brakes, which I can acquire relatively cheaply, around ~1500$ for calipers set? Are they worth buying?

There is a fellow in here recently who is accomplishing this swap to Alcon brakes onto his NA (I think) 4.2.. He's been running into several obstacles but either just finished the swap or is near completion.
For me, the parts and labor cost don't justify the results. since I don't track anymore. I'm quite happy with my /R 5.0 stock brakes on the street, which would be a close-to parts swap for a non-R car.

I would be thst fellow… I will be completely honest with you, I would NOT undertake this project again. Replacement rotors are available from RockAuto, you will have to modify many components to make this swap work. Stopping power is improved under hard braking, otherwise negligible. The dreaded parking brake is a nightmare… if you like challenges and projects, by all means have at it. Good luck

I'm in the other camp. I did this on 5.0 XKR (more to be done on the rear axle to retrofit). They are better. And they look much better.

And I have one spare set (everything incl new seals, all brackets). I'm in Poland. Shipping cost might be high as it is a heavy stuff...
