Had my 2011 xk vert in for service had tires balanced due to front wheel vibration it fixed that issue but then stated to feel a vibration at different times in the rear. After reading here on the forum about the Hunter Road Force wheel balance, I located a tire shop that had on and had been in business for a time. Went there asked about the machine and told them to balance the rears. Found a problem with left rear it was 60% out rim ok. they broke the tire down and moved it around to the right spot and balanced it again got to 30%. rt side was fine only needed 1/4oz. That machine is great. They showed me the computer tests unreal. I have never used this type of balancing before but will from now on and everyone who has not should. We always learn. Oh, cost $43.00.

Lothar52, it was a tire shop called Glenn's here in Melbourne fl local owned and operated. All I did was google tire shops for wheel balance then called several asking if they had the Hunter Road Force equipment. Hunter makes a tire balance machine also, so when you call ask if is the road force. Also ask if if they will work on a Jaguar and if the tire needs what is called indexing, breaking the tire down and moving it to the right location on the rim, that the tire equipment will not harm the rim,as to scratches etc. The balance cost is one price and extra if they have to index. Hope this helps.

All 4 wheels??? That, my friend, is a hell of a deal! Haven't had the Jag in but I paid $80+ from my indy for a road force balance for my modified SL500 every 6 months but that's only because I set him up with what turned out to be his wife so I thought I was getting a real "friends and family discount!" LOL

No TDub, that was for only the rear wheels. But I think it was still a good price for that type of balancing.
