Proably had a visit to the service dept. and this is what you would expect from them.

I don't think they were worth the price when new. Still don't think they have devalued correctly. Kind of like the four door XF thing that's so far overpriced. How will either plastic fantastic stand up to time? I think their exclusivity actually devalues them to a person who would use them on the street or track. The -GT has a ton of special parts that are probably out of the inventory stream already, or would be if the cars were actually used. Sad really because they don't qualify as art which should be timeless.

Well I stopped in the dealer on Saturday. The car was inside and on a battery maintainer. Funny seeing an XKR in the showroom floor. Fantastic specimen indeed. And no, I didn't ask to drive it

Not to be a wet blanket, but they styling is a little goofy with the canards and all that. XKR-S has a tasteful amount guilding without going over board.

I agree with Moses, but I have read that those silly canards actually do a LOT in improving the aero of the car. Function before Form, I guess.

also agree... but it's a special model so I guess they have to make it stand out somehow....

Also, it's not helping that car much unless it's outside in a wind storm. No one drives this car!

I am sure they do a lot above 80 mph as does the wing. I would have rather seen them do a flat bottom and more air management under the car.

The GT has a totally flat panel in place of the standard undertrays.

By the looks of it I don't suspect it should be a problem. Maybe have to drill a few holes but I suspect they didn't alter the underside much.
